Classes are taught in my home in northwest Mundelein, IL (near Target and Home Depot).

I love teaching Musikgarten!   Here are a few reasons why:
It's Fun!!!
Bond with your child. Music Education--highly researched curriculum based on right-brained and aural learning.
Sequential program--babies through class piano (age 9 and up!).
Lots of movement--great for kids who have lots of wiggle! Instrument playing--drums, jingles, rhythm sticks, resonator bars, etc.
Focused listening activities--trains children to slow down and focus.
Creative movement activities--children act out stories and musical themes.
A teacher who cares and loves children! Fine motor skill practice through instrument playing and fingerplays.
Gross motor skill practice through dancing and directed movement.
High quality CDs and other home materials to reinforce what is learned in class.
Uses lovely and lively folk songs, very singable for children.
Each class includes echoing rhythm and tonal patterns--the first step toward learning to read music!

If a child is to keep alive his inborn sense of wonder, he needs the companionship of at least one adult who can share it, rediscovering with him the joy, excitement, and mystery of the world we live in.  --Rachel Carson
